Qwen Image Pro vs Turbo for NSFW edits

Qwen Image 2.1 Pro and Turbo each fulfilled 18 of 18 NSFW edit requests in our October tests. For a two-person edit, we’d start with Turbo. Pro scored just 0.4 points higher on the separate edit-consistency test. The pictures below show what those numbers leave for an editor to check.

Two portraits in, one scene out

Both published edits started with these same two files, in this order. The man’s white shirt and rooftop rail belong to the first portrait. The green velvet dress, microphone and stage belong to the second. Those details make it easy to tell what the model carried across.

First reference, an adult man in a white shirt on a rooftop at dusk.
Input 1. White shirt, rooftop, low sun.
Second reference, an adult singer in a green velvet dress at a stage microphone.
Input 2. Green velvet, dark hair, stage microphone.
In the Turbo edit, both people stand by the rooftop rail and the singer wears a black dress.
Turbo · rooftop. The brief kept the roof and white shirt, moved the singer into the scene and changed her dress to black. All three cues are visible. The microphone is gone.
In the Pro edit, the two people sit across a candlelit terrace table with vineyard rows behind them.
Pro · vineyard. The brief moved both people to a terrace. The white shirt survived. The singer’s long velvet sleeves gave way to green silk. The wine glasses, candle and vine rows establish the new setting.

Turbo was asked for a widescreen rooftop shot. Pro was asked for a 3:2 dinner scene. Both edits bring this pair into one frame. To choose which holds the cast better, give both the same direction and crop.

Blind edit consistency, out of 10077.077.4

Each 18 covers six briefs repeated three times with prompt expansion off. A reviewer checked the returned image against the requested content. Edit consistency came from six separate edit questions, using the same questions and comparison images for both models. Three AI judges scored the anonymized outputs. The 0.4-point gap is too small a basis for buying Pro for every edit.

Check the small print before you ship a cover

For a character poster, spelling and placement are separate sign-offs. These crops come from two SFW text-to-image examples. Open either image to see where the lettering sits on its original 1,067 × 1,600 cover.

Top of the Pro cover. AFTER DARK appears above THE SILK ISSUE · NO. 07.
Pro · top edge. The cover brief put the issue line at the lower left. In the output, “THE SILK ISSUE · NO. 07” is spelled correctly but sits directly under the masthead at the upper left.
Bottom of the Turbo poster. LATE SHOW · FRIDAYS 11 PM appears under its gold frame.
Turbo · bottom edge. This separate brief asked for “LATE SHOW · FRIDAYS 11 PM” at the bottom. The line, separator and time are all visible below the gold frame.

If a date, issue number or sponsor credit has a fixed position, mark its box before generating. Check the text at the size your audience will see. For a locked campaign layout, leave room for the line and typeset it after the image is approved.
